As the Client’s Life Coach and Therapeutic Art Facilitator, Madison Solano, doing business as Reflective Resilience, LLC (Hereby referred to as Coach) will partner with the Client on a journey of discovery, self-exploration, accountability, and follow through. The Coach’s job is to help the Client discover and create a plan to reach certain goals or tackle issues. The Coach will help the Client discover within themselves the beliefs or issues that are blocking the Client from moving forward in achieving these set goals or working through certain issues.

  1. The Coach operates from a particular coaching model, but it is the responsibility of the Client to follow through with implementing the plan set forth between Coach and Client. The Coach’s intention is to treat each and every Client with respect, positive regard, and dignity regardless of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender, religion, and any other personal characteristics. The coaching environment and relationship is a safe space. Abiding by the ethical core value of “do no harm” is of utmost importance as the Coach.

  3. The Coach refrains from coaching anyone under the age of 18.

  4. As a Client, I understand that therapeutic art and life coaching is a present and future-based practice. I understand that therapeutic art and life coaching do not replace clinical counseling/psychotherapy or get into issues of trauma, substance or any forms of abuse, or mental illness diagnosis. Conversations surrounding feelings, emotions, and the past may arise, however, the Coach will use this information to understand the Client’s current experiences.

  5. As a coaching Client, I understand that in order to get from point “A” to point “B” it is my responsibility to put in the work alongside my Coach to foster change, growth, and reach my goals.

  6. In therapeutic art and life coaching the Coach’s duty is to not tell the Client what to do, give suggestions or advice, or “fix” the Client’s issue. Furthermore, it is not the Coach’s responsibility to interpret or critique the Client’s artwork. The Coach will guide the Client to forming their own solutions and discoveries through therapeutic art tools, asking thought-provoking questions, and integrating mindfulness techniques.

  7. Achieving the results desired and expected by the Client and Coach normally takes time. In order for the coaching to be most effective and to allow time for changes and results to occur in the Client’s life, the Client will commit to a period of 2 months.

  8. Either party may terminate the coaching relationship at any time after agreeing to have a final session before concluding the relationship and settling financially any outstanding fees. The Coach agrees to refund any unused pre-paid fees.
